Big Bear

It has been sooo incredibly nice to have Kris not working these two weeks while the kids are out of school.  I mean really OFF.. no email, voice mail, phone calls, etc.... All problems and calls were directed to his secretary.   I .. well, all of us, have loved having him around.  We have had so much fun as a family and really enjoyed each others Company.  We headed to Big Bear for a few days with my family and had a great time!

Snowball Fight! There was tons of snow but the weather wasn't too cold for playing outside.
Look how much snow is on the deck!
I've fallen and I can't get up!
Carson sledding with Aunt Jenna
Henz stayed in the cabin most of the time and played with Mimi and Papa.
The Boys... Aren't their tiny snowboards so cute??

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Christmas this year was so nice.  The Rain and Cold weather was perfect for staying in, relaxing and enjoying each others company. My family came out on Christmas eve which has become our tradition 2 years and counting.  We have dinner and the boys decorate sugar cookies for Santa.
My Brother, Scott, and sisters Jenna and Ashley.
The Sugar Cookies made Collin so thirsty!
Gavin, So excited for Santa to come!
Decorating Sugar Cookies
It was so nice to have Jenna home from Utah
Santa Came!
Santa left Carson a Bike and a Lollypop, just as he asked for
He left Hendrix an activity chair
(santa must have known that Hendrix's buddy Logan loves his chair, so he left one for Henz)
Gavin and Collin got Star Wars and Indiana Jones Lego's as they asked for and also Star Wars Leapsters... a fun surprise!  I dont have a picture because it was raining but Santa left a special box at the back of our tree with a note to look in the back yard.  Him and his elves left a trampoline for the kids... Gavin and Collin were really hoping they had been good enough all year to get one... and they were!
After we finished at home we headed to my Parents house and there was a beautiful rainbow on the way.
Dad handing out the gifts
My parents got Bike/Skate ramps for Gavin and Collin... they were so excited!
Hendrix loved his First Christmas!  He had so much fun tearing the wrapping paper and eating the ribbon.
Carson, Our Toy Story Fan, was thrilled to get a talking Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Hint Hint Kris, Now you can vaccum out my car for me more often... enjoy your new shop vac babe!
There are no more pictures from this day because we stayed in our pj's and watched movies (and Kris, the Laker Ggame) all day, it was so nice!  A wonderful Christmas!

December fun

They all had a great time making gift bags for all of the kids in Gavin and Collin's Class.
Since Kris and My Dad were at the USC game, My Mom came out to take the kids to our neighborhood Christmas Party.

Somewhere along the way, It was my Birthday.  My Wonderful husband gave me the day off, sent me to Burke Williams and Shopping all day.. I was in heaven.  I met up with my mom and sister at Champagne for lunch... my favorite!
I was excited to get home and see Kris and the boys.  They had the house decorated so fun and a yummy cake.  I also got a cute Pink Flip video camera, so expect to start seeing a little video on here soon!
Kindergarten Holiday Program! They were so Handsome and did a great job, I am so proud of them!
Gavin was "Dasher", the first of Santa's Reindeer of course.
Collin was a "Rockstar" in the Santa Clause Rocks song. He was a little nervous about forgetting his line but did Perfect!
Mimi and Papa braved a serious snow storm through the Ortega to get to the performance.  We are so glad they made it safely and now know why we live in Southern California!
Mrs. Wells, The best Kindergarten teacher ever, the boys love her and she is so good to them!
The Kindergarten had a Polar Express parade and everyone built their own train car our of a box, so glad we had our handy Papa around to help.
Getting ready for the parade!
Cute Collin, the box was a little heavy in the end.
Buddies, Gavin and Carson
All of the trains!

A Special Visit

Kris's Grandparents came down for a visit on the rainiest day we have had yet... they are so sweet.  It was a little treacherous getting here but wonderful to see them and the boys loved all of the fun presents they brought.

Dentist + Video Games

= A dream for Mom!
Carson's First Dentist appointment, he did great and has no cavities!
Collin was a little, ok very, nervous about getting his teeth cleaned.  Amazing what a good dentist and Game Cube can do!
Good Job Gavin.. No Cavities!
This cute guy just hung out in his car seat the whole time, he is such a good baby!
Shiny Teeth!

Since we were out of school anyway for a dentist appointment, we decided to head to Disneyland to see it decorated for Christmas one more time before the new year. My mom and Dad met us there and considering all of the lots were full and the park was packed.. we decided to leave the camera in the car... no pictures, Just fun memories!

Meet Willie, The Elf on the Shelf

My friend Trisha told me about this Elf that she bought last year and as soon as I heard about it I ordered one for us.  If you haven't heard of him, you can watch this short video clip.
Our Elf's name is Willie,  The Williams Elf.  When someone isn't behaving the kids will tell each other, " Willie is watching or Willie Heard that!"  It has been so fun and they run down each morning to see where he is hiding...tonight he is in our Christmas tree.  My favorite is the first night we got him and read the darling book... We put him on the mantle and Gavin said " Oh, I think I saw his eyes move!"
