Bass Lake!

1967 is believed to be the first year that began our annual family tradition at Bass Lake. It is always a wonderful trip filled with many wonderful memories and this year was no exception.
The boys were counting down the days and when the morning finally came, they were so excited to help load the car!

Looks like Hendrix has Dads toothbrush... Lets Go!
Carson had been wearing these goggles around the house for a week before Bass Lake and was thrilled to wear them in the lake.
He was comfortable on the stairs and went up and down for hours. You've gotta love this cutie in his turtle goggles!

Sunset boat ride to Millers Landing to get ice cream. It was a beautiful night!
Millers sells a few small convenience items and Carson decided he wanted macaroni and cheese and stuck this in my purse while we were ordering dessert. I was almost a shop lifter! So cute though.
We didnt get the mac and cheese but we did get a $5 loaf of bread to feed to the geese that were surrounding the boat. The geese were eating out of the kids hands... and hissing at them at the same time. Yikes!

Kris had to leave for a few days on business and we were all so glad when he came back a little early!

When Grams hands you lemons...

... make lemonade!
Last week I went to my Grandma Marilyn's house and picked the lemons off of her lemon tree for her.  Some of them were too high for her to reach.
She sent me home with bags and bags of beautiful lemons!
I absolutely love having fresh lemons in the house and it feels like summer time in California when I have a bowl of them in my kitchen!
Today we made Grandmas fresh lemonade with our lunch!
Cheers to delicious fresh lemonade!

We look forward to Grandmas special lemonade at all of our family gatherings.  My brother, Scott, wrote home from his mission and said he misses Grandmas Lemonade.  We are happy to have it at our house now~

Uh-Oh

Yay!  This is my first post from video taken with my new iphone!  I have been telling Kris for years that I love my phone but feel like i should have video on it and finally... tah dah!! Thank You Apple! I am thrilled to be able to capture precious moments in my life and for some of our family who are farther away, to be able to see and hear the kids.  I am a little obcessed at the moment and seem to be recording everything!  Mom Judy~ You are going to love this new addition to the blog!
He may not be walking yet but he is starting to talk a little more.  His first word other than mama and dada is Uh-Oh! It is now a game that we play, he drops and I pick up... and I love it!   Such a funny boy!
* I guess you might have to scroll down and pause the music?  Maybe I should take the music off now since there will be many videos coming?  hmm..
