Little Man's Playgroup!

Carson is in a Playgroup with the cutest group of little guys! They are all 3 or 4 years old and have such a great time together! I host once every 6 weeks and it is so fun! This week our letter was H so i did a hat theme and the boys made these fun hats and had a parade with horns.

Collin and gavin asked if they could help "teach" this time so they gave a little lesson on the letter H....

... and played a hat game with the kids. They did a great job! I think we could have 2 future teachers here!

And i just had to take this picture because I always make sure the toy room is clean and organized when the boys arrive so they can find toys easily. Well, this week, I think they were finding toys a little TOO easily!

And when the toy room got too crowded, Blake and Carson moved to the living room!

Happy Halloween!

This halloween was a little bit different. I was feeling a little under the weather so Kris, My mom and Ashley helped ensure that the boys had a great day and halloween week!

What a cute little Pumpkin!

Earlier in the week we ventured out to the pumpkin patch. The pictures were all a little blurry but this is Hendrix's first time riding a pony and he loved it!!

Pre hall0ween pumpkin carving. Kris cut off all of the tops of the pumpkins and got them ready for the boys to carve.

This is the first year Collin and Gavin used the pumpkin carving knife themselves and carved over what Kris had traced. Collin wanted a vampire pumpkin.

It was a great halloween! Everyone had fun trick or treating and Hendrix is still going around the house saying " Tick a Teat!"

We had about 25 BOYS at Gavin and Collins 6th birthday party.... bounce house and huge slide, Jedi training, fighting Darth Vader, pizza, Yoda soda, cake and tons of presents and good friends!

Gavin and especially Collin were thrilled that he came to their house! He even left his light saber for them... which Collin carries around to let everyone know where it came from!

Collin had a valve in his heart had not closed yet since the twins were 5 weeks early, so he had to stay in the NICU for 3 weeks. 

$158,000 in medical Charges later (thank goodness for good insurance).... he was ready to come home to us!

The boys couldn't choose a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake flavor since their tastes are so different so the chose to bring everyone their favorite ice cream! 

Gavin likes Daquiri ice and sherbert and Collin is a mint and regular chocolate chip lover.

Hendrix loves to push the lawn mower at Mimi and Papas! 

When we got home the boys all opened up their Bionicle toys and put them together by themselves!  I was so proud of them for reading the directions and figuring it out!

Swirlz Family Night!

We walk to Swirlz frozen yogurt every week for family night and this week Mimi joined us! She brought Carson this book about Tommy Trojan that he carries everywhere with him.

Carson loves to get his own toppings.  Last week we were eating dinner at the pizza place next door and Carson disappeared.  I was just starting to panic when he came walking out of the yogurt shop with a yogurt.  Kris went in to pay for it and the boy said he looked like he knew what he was doing and was so cute so he just let him have the yogurt.  Such a funny boy.
