Hendrix is 21 Months

How can my baby be almost 2? If you notice on his second birthday that he still has a bottle, is wearing little onesies and bibs, carrying a blankie... or possibly even swaddled, it's because i'm not ready to let go of my last baby just yet. Hendrix is growing up so fast and is hillarious... he has such a sense of humor already and loves his little life!
Did I mention he has some of the biggest baby teeth I have ever seen? I love his smile!
Discovering the park and trying to squish his face through the bars
He loves to go down the slide over and over and over and....well, you get the point.... He loves the slide!
He always makes the funniest faces and always makes me laugh.
I love to watch his eyes as he thinks and figures things out... he is so smart. He loves pancakes and today, he got out the griddle, spatula and a plate and was saying "p-cakes. p-cakes"
And in recent news, he is still likes the trash truck and all trucks for that matter. Every day now, when i am getting him dressed he says "truck" and wants to wear a shirt with a truck on it apparently. Isn't he a little young to be so picky about what he wears? But alas, since he is the baby, he gets whatever he wants... well, they all do for that matter but thats another ball game. So, out i will go tomorrow to find a few more truck shirts since i have been washing this one every day to satisfy the prince. Today I tried to put a dinosaur shirt on him and he was not a happy guy. Gotta love that persistence!

Too cute, Jan!
Why do they have to be so opinionated about their clothes so young? It's got to be the older siblings. Koby was always darling in polos, sweater vests, button-downs. Now it is nothing but basketball clothes for my boys. I am always looking for new bball shirts to expand their wardrobe! They are probably eaiser to find than truck shirts!

I'll keep an eye out for you! We went through the same phases with Holly and Noel. Noel had a "duckie" swimsuit she would never take off! She would scream and cry when I tried to wash it! She even slept in it! It became thread barren and now it's in her memory box - she has fond memories of it even today...

I am still babying my baby. He is almost 5 and I still pick him up and carry him when I can. I squeeze him, call him my little guy, and cover his cheeks with kisses. He is growing up so fast . . .
Hendrix is so stinkin' cute. I won't even think twice if he is swaddled on his 2nd birthday, I totally get it:)
