I need you...

Friday Night we had tickets to see Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill in Anaheim, at what I still refer to as The Pond...It is a great venue to see a concert at and our seats were incredible...of course Tim and Faith were too!! Kris took me to dinner before at one of his favorite restaurants near by there called The Catch ...It was delicious!! (The best bread and herbed dipping oil ever!!) Thanks babe for a wonderful night!!

Spa Pedis all around...

Yesterday afternoon my mom took my sisters and I for pedicures as a last girls outing before Jenna leaves for Utah next week. We had a fun time and all seemed to be feeling "pretty in pink " by our color choices!

HGTV's Weekend Warrior...

As you may know, I have been looking for a piano for a while, waiting for just the right one! I finally found it and who'd have known it was right around the corner from me...making it really easy to move...although Kris and our neighbor Chris who moved it a few times, would maybe feel differently. I jumped right in with the refinishing and finished it surprisingly quick..and actually had fun doing it...now the piano and I have really bonded...we have a connection that I am hoping will help me as I learn to play..haha...wish me luck, I start lessons on thursday! In between coats of primer and paint, I was also giving my dining room chandelier a makeover...I am still waiting for my shades from Anthropologie, as soon as they come the chandelier will make its www debut! Thanks again to Chris and Kris moving team...still going strong with their no injurys record..unless you count the entertainment center dropped on Kris's toe?

Orange County Fair Pictures

"Camp Mimi and Papa" goes to the OC Fair!!

Gavin and Collin had so much fun at "Camp Mimi and Papa" for a few days. One of the things they did was visit the Orange County Fair. They had so much fun and have been talking about it every day since. Riding on and elephant with Aunt Ashley, riding on the snake roller coaster..(notice the duct tape...is that safe?), petting the animals in the petting zoo, pony rides, cotton candy (we would never give them cotton candy...I guess that is what grandparents are for..can you say sugar high?!) and with all of this the hilight seems to be the goat/deer??? that was snacking on Mimi's skirt! My mom has sworn to never wear that skirt again..it was covered in goat/deer saliva..which included unidenified green pieces of what seemed to be old slimy food from the goat/deer's mouth. While on the pony ride, Gavin was most concerned about the horse behind him doing the same thing to him... he rode most of the way watching his back. Collin had his heart set on seeing a llama there and sure enough he did. Everyone had a great time...we know this because when we called to check on them and asked if they missed us and were ready to come..."No Thank you" was the reply. A good time was had by all! ! Thank You Papa, Mimi and Aunt Ashley!!!

Summer Concert on the Lake

Gavin and Collin went to my parents house for few days for "Camp Mimi & Papa!" The boys get special time with them, go fun places and basically get spoiled for a few days...the royal treatment! (even more than any regular day)
With the boys gone and just Kris, Myself and Carson at home we felt a little lonely. I never thought I would say this but I really missed the noise and all of the action that goes on each day...the house was way too quiet. And by the way...having only one baby is nothing! So easy! I made good use of the time by getting more organized, shopping, and starting some projects. Carson loved having his "special" time too! We live in a new community that is built around a lake..it is beautiful with a walking path and parks around it. During the summer they have concerts on the lake, se we walked over to see who was playing. . Carson tried to enjoy crawling around on the grass... he doesnt like the way it feels! I'm with him on that one...it makes you all itchy! It was a beautiful night...followed by yummy dinner at El Torito. The 3 of us had a fun few days but missed our boys..so happy to have them back!

It's Emeril and Wolfgang Puck...

Nope, just Gavin and Collin at Little Tots Chef School! The Boys are signed up for a summer cooking class here in our community. It is fun for them to be able to mix, stir, measure and pour and me not have to stress about the mess! There was flour everywhere when class was over. This week they made pizza dough and smiley face pizzas! We baked them when we got home and I must say they were actually really good...I think we could give BJ's some competition!
