Just Feeling Grateful

Today I am feeling especially Grateful for my sweet husband who is always so positive and can always help me to see the bright side of a situation and almost always make me laugh in the process. When I need him he will drop everything to help me. (today :) He is a wonderful father and priesthood holder and spends much quality time with our boys and they love spending time with him...they Adore him! ( as do I!) Kris, Thank you for all you do to make me happy and make my life easier...and keeping me laughing all along the way, I soo appreciate you!...Love you babe~

Twinkley Hinkley

We are sad to find out that President Hinkley, the Prophet of our church passed away tonight at the age of 97. I am sure he is glad to be reunited with his sweet wife in heaven. He was the oldest President in the church and did amazing work in dedicating so many temples. What a wonderful man and example to the world. One of my favorite quotes from President Hinkley "It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of his blessings, He will hear our prayers."

Heaven on Earth?

Kris and I spent the weekend at Bacara Resort and Spa..possibly the most wonderful weekend getaway spot ever! We left the boys with my parents (THANK YOU so much!)and of course they had so much fun. It was kind of sad for us that no one wanted to leave Mimi and Papas house but atleast we know they had a great time and were spoiled. It was nice not to have to worry about them. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the day spa and getting a few treatments, Laying by the pool and swimming (it was so warm!), sleeping in uninterupted, childless fine dining, childless walking on the beach, going to the movies and of course shopping in downtown Santa Barbara. The room was amazing and we just enjoyed relaxing in front of our fireplace and on the childless oceanfront patio...in childless silence. Can you tell we needed a getaway? We really did enjoy the "childless" part of everything however by Sunday were so ready to see the boys...We missed them! Glad to be home and back in my routine.

Its a.......

BOY!!! We are so excited to find out we are for sure having a boy! I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago (thanks Rachel for the info) and the lady thought it was a boy but was not 100% sure. I went again on Friday and Yes, it is a boy. We are all very excited, I wanted a baby close to Carson in age so they could be buddies like Gavin and Collin and it works out perfect that it will be a boy. We already know what we are doing as far as boys are concerned :) One problem, I have my heart set on one specific boy name and Kris does not care for it...Dont you think I should have the majority of the say since I do all of the hard work? I told him he could pick the middle name. hmmm...now things could get interesting!

Santa Tracker

This is so fun! We have been tracking Santa all night. The boys (Kris included) have had fun watching Santa visit all of his destinations...He is getting closer!! Merry Christmas to all and to all a Goodnight!!!

Still Here

Sorry for the lack of excitement on our blog recently. Its not that our holidays have not been exciting...we have been having so much fun, However we have 2 problems. 1) we got a new Camera and neither Kris nor I have sat down to figure out how to load the pictures to the computer yet. 2) Zzzzzzzzz.... I have been exhausted. It just takes way too much energy these days to blog.. I fall asleep on the couch right after dinner, Kris wakes me up about 9 or 10 and I head up to bed...Passing right by the computer. So, Again I do apologize but I hope that I will get that much needed burst of energy in my second trimester which starts Thursday. Hope you are all enjoying this Christmas season as much as we are!!!
