Protect Traditional Marriage!

Kris and I sat speechless with our jaws on the ground after watching the No on Prop 8 campaign's newest commercials tonight.  The comparisons they make are unbelievable!   It is NOT discrimination, we are NOT anti-gay, they still have ALL of the same rights... we are simply fighting for the Constitutional definition of marriage.
Watch this short  Video  and Vote YES on Prop 8... Protect the Sacredness of Marriage between a Man and Woman.

Halloween Morning

Aaahhh...No school today, and it is so nice! I haven't been able to lounge around in my robe for months! Usually it's..Get Up, Throw on some clothes, Breakfast, make lunches, and it gets crazier from there.   Sooo... since this sweet baby is still asleep ( since 10pm  last night!) and my boys are playing nicely,

I am thoroughly enjoying my morning...watching TV ( which I NEVER get to do) with my feet up sitting cozy in my robe and no where to be until 1pm. Ah.. It's going to be a great day.

Happy Halloween !!

Dream Halloween

Today we attended an event in LA called Dream Halloween.  We took everyone except Carson who had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch and Trunk-or-Treat with my sister Ashley. Gavin and Collin Trick or treated for Toys! Not small toys and crap....big, fun, perfect for boys toys!!
They look really excited, don't they?

Just wait until they get inside!

>We didn't want to bother any of the stars but Jamie Lee Curtis was so cute with the boys.

Batman!
They gave them large bags to fit MOST of their things in.
Trick or Treat!
MAC did face painting and tatoo's

The lighting was different so my pictures didn't turn out that great.... but it gives you an idea.  This is one of the crazy/haunted houses they went in to get toys.
There were fun games to play....for a second anyway.  This didn't hold their attention too long.  WAY more exciting stuff going on!
Taking it all in!  He was so good.
Yummy ice cream sundae bar!
There was so much food catered by some delicious restaurants and one had hot dogs, hamburgers and mac and cheese for the kids.
They had a craft area with tons of neat crafts and projects for them.
Decorating Sugar cookies
Making candy necklaces

Because we were VIP sponsers we got to go in 30 min earlier than most so it wasn't crowded for the first hour..then it started to get a little crazy so we decided to head out.
(ok.. I left my makeup bag at home and so I used my sisters powder...umm, I guess her skin is a little lighter than mine judging by this picture.)

We came home to this sweet little guy...
So fun!  Now, lets hope everyone sleeps in tomorrow!

"Sick Day"

I did keep the boys out of school today and called the school to let them know exactly why I was doing that.  We  met my Mom at Disneyland and had a great day!!!
I tried to explain to them why we were not at school today...they are too young.. I shouldn't have even gone there.  I think I have them a little confused now.  Oh well, one day they will understand and look back on this moment in history and I want them to know that we as a family  did everything we could to support proposition 8... yes,  including playing hookey.

"Sick" Day

In case you haven't heard... Click Here.
I just got up to feed Hendrix and got this email...it's a little late but I think we are on board.
The Williams Family is looking for something fun to do tomorrow.....Legoland anyone?? Disneyland??  Sea World??
Even if you don't keep your children home, please follow the link and scroll down where you can email the California Teachers Association and let them know how you feel about them donating 1.4 million to the NO on Prop 8 campaign... I still can't believe it!

Prop 8

My Navigation System and I had some bonding time today...
I spent the morning delivering Yes on Prop 8 signs all around our town.   Kris ended up joining me for the second half.  On our last street we had one the end of the street to deliver but a lot of the houses already had signs.  We delivered the last one and 1 minute later when we went back down the street they were all gone! We went back up and down and didn't see anyone.   I think it is so sad that these people feel they need to be so awful in hopes they will win. Our friend around the corner has had multiple signs stolen and her and her neighbor's houses all with signs were egged last night and she walked out on 2 older ladies taking her sign again today. There are so many other crazy stories that I have heard. My brother was near the kalidescope tonight with a sign waving group of  people and he said the profanities shouted were terrible, people in cars opposed to prop 8  would open full beer cans and throw them at the kids, full water bottles...etc.  This shows us the kind of people we are up against....people who supposedly preach equality, freedom of speech and constitutional rights.  You don't see us doing the things they are.  All of this has strengthened my resolve for something that in the beginning I admit I was not really into. PLEASE VOTE  YES ON PROP 8!!

** My Dad was working in his garage last night and 2 ladies were taking off all of the stickers from their neighbors cars and his... he jumped in his car and chased them down.  My dad got their plate number and there was quite the confrontation between them.  She threatened to call the cops because he was following her and he said please do... Then I can report you for stealing and get my stickers back!  The story is actually really funny.. if you see him you can ask him about it  :)
