Christmas Cookie Play!

Gavin and Collin had their Kindergarten Christmas Cookie Play at school today!
I love that every time the boys have a school program, one of them sneaks in the classroom "to use the restroom" or "get a drink" , to make sure that we are there before the kids enter.
Ding-Dong-Ding... Collin is a Cookie Bell, watch him merrily swing!
Toot-Toot! Make way for the cookie train! Gavin's car piled high with cheer for a joyous holiday season and a very bright New year!
Papa and Collin! So fun for Papa to see their classroom!
Cutest boys ever!
Their buddies, Easton and Ethan... eating Chocolate cookies and drinking Hot Cocoa and milk.
These sugar cookies were a family effort... we had so much fun making them and listing to christmas music.
The highlight of the day was riding home in Papas convertible... or as Carson calls it " the car with no woof on it"
Posing for the Rose parade!
I know this does not look safe, they were just in the culdesac.
So Fun!!
This little guy did not ride in the Convertible but wanted to drive my car... he will stay in there and pretend to drive the car forever!
Tired boys cuddled up on the couch watching a Christmas move! Our favorite thing to do on a december night!
Carson all cuddled up for the movie too!
Merry Christmas!

No More Braces!

After 18 months, Kris got his braces off today!
We are all so excited for him! Collin and Gavin were especially excited and counting down the days!
The Orthodontist sent him home with a bottle of sparkling cider to celebrate and a bag full of goodies that he couldn't eat while he had his braces on. Congrats my love!

18 Months Old!

Last week Hendrix turned 18 months!
We absolutely adore him... I am obsessed with his cute personality and all of the funny things he says. He is so smart!! He LOVES the trash truck and any truck or car for that matter. He loves trash day and says "churash churuck" as he looks out the window as the truck takes our trash... or better yet, if we catch the truck in time, we head outside for an up close view.
Being Christmas time, he says Santa and Ho Ho Ho! In a very Santa like voice... everything is either a trash truck or Santa, or Daddy... he loves his Daddy!
He likes to jump on the trampoline and is actually really good at it!
He is very attached to his pillow. They came as a 2 pack from Costco a few years ago and so I used to have a back up while one was washing but he pulled all of the stuffing out of the inside one day, so we are down to one.
He says Pee-ow and gets very concerned if its not in bed with him or angry if someone else is holding it.
A few more fun things about our baby~

* His will eat anything, but loves dinosaur chicken!

* He doesnt really have hair yet and I Love that! I love bald babies.

* He is such a great sleeper... at least 12 hours straight through at night and 3 hours during the day. And when he does wake up I have to make sure I watch the video monitor because he just sits in there staring at the door or the camera and waits for someone to come get him out. He is such a good baby!

* He still LOVES his bottle and as far as I am concerned he can have it as long as he wants... he is my last baby... (snif snif)

* Words he loves to say are Dad or Daddy, Mom or Mommy, Car, Trash Truck, Ball, Nigh Nigh, Juice, Eat, Eyes ( as he pokes your eye out), Nose (he scrunches up his nose and sniffles), Papa, Ashley, Collin, Hot, Cold and mine ( as he puts both hands on his chest). He understands so much and doesnt say yes or no, just nods his head wither way.

* Hendrix is very strong and also strong willed. For those reasons... he usually always gets what he wants. He has a great arm and can throw really far and hard. The other day Kris said he missed my head with the remote by an inch... he was across the room from me too! He is a solid boy and a little on the agressive side physically. I fear for some of the kids in the nursery... ha!

*He can also be a very cuddly boy and loves to be rocked and sing. We sing "rock the baby" and he says "Rock bebe, Rock bebe" in the sweetest singing voice.

I guess I could go on all day about our little guy... We love you Hendrix!!
XOXOXO

Christmas Aloha!

My Dad is on business in Hawaii and he and my Mom invited Gavin and Collin to join them for a week. They left at 5 this morning and won't be home until 1o Sunday night. They are going to have a great time.. but I miss them already!!
In the mean time I have big plans to go through every drawer, cabinet, closet, etc in my house while I only have 2 little cuties at home. We also plan to have a little fun too and spend some quality time just the 3 of us!

I Heart Schwans!

I am absolutely in love with all of the products from the Schwans food company. Before we moved I was in the most wonderful dinner group with some friends and that made it very easy to have a healthy family dinner each night. It is important to Kris and I that we sit down as a family for dinner as often as we can. Now, every 2 weeks the Schwans man comes to my door with yummy foods and easy to prepare meals. This week I made the most delicious beef stew using their beef tips and gravy item. I added a few other ingredients and some fresh veggies. It simmered in the crock pot all day and was amazing!
I am quite picky about meat quality and fat content and their quality is fantastic.
And... the Ice Cream is the creamiest and best I have ever had!
For recipes, you can go to their website... look up your local Schwans guy and give it a try!!

Legoland Christmas Tree lighting

After school I took the boys to Legoland to watch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. We arrived just in time to see the Fun Town Fire department show... it has been a favorite of all of my boys, and I love it too!
Vern, is our favorite (with the red bow tie) and this guy has been playing Vern since we started going to legoland about 3 years ago. Occasionally there is a replacement Vern... he's african american, which is a little interesting when when you are used to this Vern.
Carson Driving the lego Volvo
Gavin and Collin drove in the older kids area.. snif snif... and because we are a Volvo loving family (even though they don't make a vehicle large enough for my family) , we think these lego Volvo's are pretty cool!
Racing Brothers!
Collin coming around the turn
Flying in the helicopter
I was alone so Hendrix didn't make it out of his jogger very much... but he had a great time taking it all in and of course loved the fire show too!
Eating our dinner
The big lego Christmas Tree !
Collin finishing up his dinner waiting for Santa to come. After the tree was lit they had fireworks which was a nice surprise. I had such a great night with my boys and they were so good ! Love them!!

I'm Back!

I have been a slacker recently! Kris has been off work for 5 weeks and just went back this week, which is bitter sweet... but thats another story. So, I can't sit on the computer all day while he's around... right? I wouldn't want him to think that's what I do all day... right? Ok... maybe sometimes it is. But he doesn't have to know that! We have had a crazy few months and are ready to enjoy this beautiful season. Happy December 1st!!
